Therefore, the selected steel requires minimal impurities, uniform arrangement, no fiber guidance, and should not have any pitting or orange peel like defects during polishing.

The shapes of parts in injection molds are often complex and difficult to process after quenching. Therefore, materials with good thermal stability should be selected as much as possible. After heat treatment of plastic mold forming and processing, due to the small coefficient of linear expansion and heat treatment deformation, the standard change rate caused by temperature differences is small, and the metallographic arrangement and standard mold are stable, which can reduce or stop processing and ensure the standard accuracy and surface roughness requirements of plastic molds.
